About Yessy Byl

Yessy Byl currently works as the Northern Alberta Educator for the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Center providing workshops on human rights issues. Most of her work is with Temporary Foreign Workers and other new immigrants. She is also an instructor for Athabasca University in labour studies. Yessy has worked as a labour lawyer in private practice and on staff with unions in Alberta for many years and is currently on the Law Society pro bono list.
